We were hoping for greatness, but Snow Patrol's long-awaited effort leaves us in the cold with an album of songs that seem to melt into one, minus those catchy hooks that were typical of the Eyes Open album and leaving us wishing they could have pulled out the stops just a bit more. We wait with bated breath for their next effort.
