Roomful of BluesFormerly situated in Geylang, this joint is famous for its inspiring jamming sessions usually attended by up and coming budding musicians. One of Singapore's first blues outfit, the place rocks with much groove that makes you want to whip out your guitar and get strumming. Bands such as The Soul Searchers, Shyyne, and Lil' Stevie make a constant appearance and definitely proves their worth. Founded in 1997, this room that's so full of blues and jazz has certainly come a long way. Word has it that the manager has something in the works. The perfect place to get some raw, fresh and throbbing talent not yet tainted by commercial influences. Those looking for some pool action may be glad to know that the place does have pool tables. With a place that promises some good music from our local talents, what more can one ask for? Over the years, past local bands such as Humpback Oak, Concave, The OddFellow and even The Tuxedo Diplomats have done their thing at this cosy joint. Kudos to them we say.
