“Last night I partied with Ronin in my house!” Imagine telling your friends that!
Having already seen Ronin writing around on the floor at the Gashaus, I’m kinda sceptical about having him do that in my house… especially since the cats might freak out… but if you’re brave enough of a thrill seeker, now’s your chance to have a live Ronin concert in your living room!
Courtesy of Motorola Singapore, who came up with this inspired idea to help promote the upcoming launch of the Motorola ROKR E2, this truly first-of-its-kind competition is as cool as the phone itself.
All you need to do to get this honour (first, make sure the parents will be away that weekend), is plug in your headphones and listen to Ronin’s hard-rocking songs at specially constructed interactive bus stops at Orchard Boulevard (opposite Orchard MRT Station), Victoria Street (in front of Bugis Village), Dunearn Road (outside Nanyang Girls School and National Junior College), Temasek Polytechnic (opposite main entrance) and Somerset MRT (opposite Hotel Phoenix and in front of the skate park) from the 10th of August to the 6th of September.
Be sure to stay tuned until the end of the song for a question, which you answer via SMS (details will be provided at the bus stops), and who knows, you might just end up with Singapore’s only true rock band making noise in your house! You can choose to keep Ronin all to your sick little self, or invite the whole damn HDB estate to an awesome party, courtesy of you and Motorola! That’s not all, the winner also gets to enjoy five seconds of international stardom as MTV will film the action and screen it on MTV Mobbed!
