KELLY CLARKSON. All I Ever WantedHey Kelly,
Your last album had its moments - even though most people thought your breakup songs on My December were too dark to sell. But just wanted to say - you sing the living shit out of every song on All I Ever Wanted! Wow! If this one doesn't sell a gazillion copies (minus a jillion due to downloading), well all of us here will just collectively go beat off somewhere.

Take that anthemic ballad 'Cry' for example, the one where you positively shoot for the heavens as you sing 'is it over yet? Can I open my eyes?' Whew, took our breath away, babe.

And even though we don't know why you're quite so upset about that guy who kept his eyes open while he's moving in for a snog, 'Don't Let Me Stop You' has this killer guitar-pop hook that sounds like the kind of kiss off that defiant cheerleaders are going to be cranking in their car from now until... until... your next song!

Well, maybe not, "Don't Let Me Stop You", which sounds kind of like producer-driven semi dance pop (but we understand, with six producers getting in there, we're sure you had to keep some of them happy).

But we mean the one after that: "All I Ever Wanted". Yeah, that's the one. We love how it’s got those big pounding drums that back up your wailing. Where you singing to girl, Jupiter? We picture this one backing some crappy movie where the girl is tearfully leaving the guy. Hey, it'll work!

Well, don't have time to gush forever. Gosh, haven't even gotten to your ballsy, rock dance hybrid "I I Can't Have You" or the fun-doo-woppish "I Want You" or when you plead for that guy "to put that bottle down because you've got too much talent" on the cranking, crunch guitar-pop tune "I Do Not Hook Up".

And to be honest, we weren't so thrilled that "Save You" sounded so much like Beyonce's "Halo", but hey, we guess one of those producers forgot who they lent their songs to.

But really Kelly, this album rocks. We can imagine every young and not so young girl, woman, cougar - and probably some dudes too - thinking that their "Life Would Suck Without You". And come to think of it, ours would too!

Best wishes on your revamped career and sold out arena tour!
