DAFT PUNK Human After All

French electronic music duo Daft Punk have come back to prove they’re not gone after all, with Human After All, their third CD and first album in more than four years. Recorded in just three months at the group’s Paris home studio, the new album from the notoriously press-shy group promises to broaden their dance floor horizons by blending hard-driving techno tracks with mellow, downtempo numbers. Human After All is a follow-up to 2001’s Discovery, which sold 2.6 million copies worldwide. Renowned for inspired music videos (Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry and anime legend Leiji Matsumoto have all previously directed videos for the duo), Daft Punk decided to direct the video for the first single off the album, “Robot Rock,” themselves.
