The 'New Bump EP' from Hybu is out (in various digital formats) and it is massive!

Hybu - New Bumb EP

Parisian, Hybu has developed an original taste for tense pop melodies, skippy beats and fiery tracks that range widely between bumpy bass music and futuristic movements due to his wide range of musical tastes such as Garage, Dubstep and Grime as well as French deep house to indie and sixties rock.

Gemini kicks off with some seriously minimal 808 influenced beats which euphorically builds to a massive UK funky/garage drop that does not dissapoint. The track intensifies, constantly changing in texture but keeping the infectious and beautifal melody the whole way through. Water Planet takes the minimal approach again but with the track filling out over 7 minutes gradually becoming a steady, bass driven, 4 to the floor future garage anthem.

The lead track of the EP New Bump makes serious use of the Amen Break drawing from Hybu's influences and evolves into a skittering garage banger. The EP also features bass shaking, incredible remixes from Slevarance, Swick & Melbourne resident Mat Cant.
