Wow! Release's long awaited second industrial compilation contains three discs inside an intricate folding sleeve that is an origami nightmare (and apparently a bitch to get manufactured, hence the delay of the release).

The second CD displays the only fault with this compilation, as the rhythms switch from the off-beats of the ritualistic Hybryds to the machine-like loops of James Plotkin and Namanax, then to the out-of-place hip-hop remix of O Yuki Conjugate and the equally foreign dub bass line on the track by Solarus. The compiler would be wise to stick to the noise textures and leave the rhythm mixing to the DJs. The third disc is the all-noise sequence featuring Illusion Of Safety, Vancouver's Haters, Staalplaat's Frans De Waard as Kapotte Muziek and Release artists Masonna and Atrax Morgue. Don't know how Merzbow and Aube got passed over ? maybe they took an afternoon off.
