The German duo show once again why they're really at the top of their game on this album, which blends Enigma style moods with warm dance beats that are more for the morning after than the dance floor.

On The Sun & the Neon Light each of the 14 tracks have their own distinct style and Booka Shade throw curveballs when they gently take on a vague country leaning on "Dusty Boots" or sing on several tracks.

Admittedly, the instrumental songs are best, though tracks like "Sweet Lies" have enough hooks and friendliness to keep one coming back.

This is a group demonstrating real possibilities and hope for the genre. Any music lover would be pleased to have this release in their collection or on their iPod.
