Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore) falls victim to a memory lapse and her fallen-from-grace beau Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) conveniently cashes in on the anomaly to win her heart back. The soundtrack makes a similar engaging detour with contemporary covers of love songs from the 80's. No Doubt's Gwen Stefani backs up "Slave to Love", a Roxy Music original, and Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath smoothly remakes "Ghost in You" by the Psychedelic Furs. Listen up for Wayne Wonder's cover of the Thompson Twins "Hold Me Now" which is given a snazzy Hawaiian twist. This is a welcome chill-out album for any romantic.
