BJORK Medulla

"Instruments are so over," said Icelandic minstrel, Bj?rk, in a press statement. Taking her words to heart, Bj?rk's latest album, Medulla features vocals-only tracks. "I think this was probably the most intuitive album I've done. I had to use ingredients that I trusted, like my voice, my muscles, my bones. I couldn't really use all the other stuff." But woman cannot survive on her own voice alone. Bj?rk recruited the vocal talents of Faith No More's Mike Patton, Rahzel "The Human Beatbox" of the Roots and Inuit throat-singer, Tanya Tagaq.
