CORNERSHOP Hand Cream For A Generation

Brimful of Asha was one of the most annoying songs of the decade hands down, and its the only thing you can really reference the oddball music of Cornershop, at once simplistic and not very appealing, and actually sort of ballsy in its refusal to get beyond its childish approach to songwriting. Its like they listened to totally different pop music in an alternative universe, or they were left on a desert island for a few years. There are a few Brimfuls of Asha here, like Disco Power which are catchy but grating, and the flat delivery of the vocals seem an afterthought again in their sing songy way. It's kind of punk rock inits own way, having no promise for which to fulfill.
