Amon Tobin's alias is Cujo, and Adventures in Foam was released in 1999, before the critical hoopla caught up with the innovative producer. Cujo has the same air of experimentation that you find on Tobin's albums, but is a decidedly more downtempo affair. The jazzy side is in ephasis and the beats are all windows instead of forests from which to navigate from the passenger side of the Tobinobile. At time starts to give an indication of what will follow in the antecent years, but more often is a downtempo breakbeat jazz with its own blunted moods.
