D12 D12 - World

While the album title claims this one is D12's playground, the spotlight doesn't shift very far from Eminem, who hops on this entourage's bandwagon to produce and perform in D12 World. His vocal appearances pepper the album, like the occasional aural buzzer that hollers at you for your attention. "My Band", the first single of D12 World and a nifty, humourous number, goes further to herald Eminem's unshakeable 'rap'utation. The follow-up from their debut album, Devil's Nights, D12 World still employs a similar 'shock-horror' technique with in your face yarns of ludicrous violence and ghetto depravity. If this is D12's world, we'll take the Eminem show any day.
