Morcheeba blew up in former Eastern Europe hugely on their first album Big Calm (We used to get the records first due to promotional coordination in the UK), which surprised record execs who weren't sure about them. Ironically, we journalists also called out their crap follow-up as the market driven coffee table dribble it was. It triggered a bomb back home. So what about #3, well its definitely right up the middle, not as fresh as Calm, but far more listenable than the last one, and with Pace Won and Slick Rick (his track is hysterical) putting their 2 cents in, there's enough edge to keep it from disappearing. Grudging approval.
