BLOCK PARTY BREAKS 2 from DJ Pogo

I'm not sure if I'd call them breakbeats, but this madhouse, fast moving, compilation of hard funk and as the sleeve says '70's funky rock', sits on the leading edge of the more controlled disco beats. At times there's a real Beastie Boy thing going on, and it's that same compulsion to excess that buryied progressive rock that gets Jeff Beck on here doing his best to stay in rhythm mode. All in all a pretty nice platter to have around when you want to open up the windows and invite your neighbors over for a few doobs.
