"I am the King of unappropriate things", I will start off by saying Long-winded and Emotional Cliche is one of the best albums I have heard all year. These guys are unsigned and I have no doubt these guys will have a deal very soon. They have a fairly unique style, most of the songs have both guitars acting as lead which exactly what the world needs, forget the Senses Fail crap, this is the kind of music that makes the world go round.

Although this album is good, I thought some of the songs are just too long, and found that it was repeating riffs a little too much, you can have a long song if you mix stuff up. Advice I would give to Uptown Stomp would be to cut down the songs. This problem, I found to be very minor but this is the reason I give this album a 4.5 instead of a 5. If you like Alexisonfire and Rufio then you are set with Uptown Stomp. I'm gonna be listening to this CD quite a bit and I will definitely be looking for these guys in the future.
