| Reviews - Sounds like |
| Written by Keith Kirchner |

Keyboard driven and a little more pop than experimental, the debut from the one man band Waldeck is promising in its compositional quality somewhat like the Tin Drum era Japan records. Lacking the depth of lyricism for such comparison, there are highlights like a dubbed out cover of Bowie's Cat People and a Moby style snip of This isn't Maybe by Chet Baker works well. Musically sound, and possibly a hint at great synth pop things to come.
