apocolyptica-album-cover

Like Dead Can Dance, this four cellist arsenal of Classical and Metal energy has emerged from a sub-genre as prelude to introducing themselves to be incredible inventive in their own right. Sneaking up on folks by doing the Mettallica cover songs disc, like DCD was thrown into the New Wave scene before revealing the power of their vision. These are originals with the exception of 'Fight Fire With Fire'. The Finnish foursome molds their instruments into percusion, bass, sharp distorted, or lush and dark sound washes. The forboding and vengeful power has indeed expanded their fanbase and reflect the mystique behind the group. The bonus disc adds vocals by Sandra Nasic of Guano Apes and awsome live versions of 4 other rockers.
